INTRODUCTION
Following the success of the first three volumes in the Digital Art Masters series, 3DTotal received yet another overwhelming response to their call for submissions. Over 1,100 stunning pieces of artwork were submitted to Digital Art Masters: Volume 4, which was double the number of entries that were received for the previous volume, proving that the series is becoming ever more popular with not only loyal readers of the series, but with new artists around the world too.
With such a staggering amount of artwork to consider for this fourth volume, the 3DTotal team enlisted industry professionals Emrah Elmasli (2D concept artist and illustrator), James Busby (3D artist and the director of Ten24.info) and Emile Hardy (matte painter) to help choose the 50 stunning images that appear in this volume’s exciting line-up. Once again boasting artists from Africa, Asia, Australia/Oceania, Europe, North America and South America, this volume is yet another diverse collection of talent from all around the world.
The articles that you’ll find in Digital Art Masters: Volume 4 have been created by artists, for artists. The stunning artwork and write-ups within its pages have been compiled not only for your viewing pleasure, but also to give the contributing artists the exposure and merit they deserve. DAMv4 is set to become another classic addition to every CG artist’s library and well may lead to the creation of your very own art masterpieces!

REVIEWS
- I really love the Digital Art Masters series Review by Bram Roelens
-
As a product designer I’m spending a lot of time on the visualizations of products, ranging from handheld devices to trains. The huge variety of products and clients requires different approaches and visual styles. This is where the books I bought from the 3DTotal shop come in handy. I really love the Digital Art Masters series and I browse through them regularly for inspiration. What I don’t like about the Digital Art Masters series though, is the different size and graphic design of the book and its cover. The first book is bigger than the rest and stands out next to them.Value
(Posted on 25/08/2010) - A book that is excellent Review by Samuel Bedard
-
The Digital Art Masters: Volume 4 is a book that is excellent. Seeing what others who have the talent can do is truly inspiring. Each project is very well described; readers could almost reproduce the images themselves!Value
(Posted on 25/08/2010) - The Digital Art Master series are excellent Review by Daniele Cupellini
-
I purchased all the Digital Art Masters issues (Volume 1 to 4) and some 3DCreative issues. The Digital Art Master series are excellent; I like the format and the quality of the contents. I love 3D art so I’d prefer more 3D content rather than 2D content. My rating for the DAM series is 4.Value

(Posted on 25/08/2010) - I like the concept of these books Review by Jose L. Garcia Fuertes
-
I like the concept of these books, a mix between tutorials and showcase. This is a great adition to the serie with a good selection of works. Maybe a bit unorganized, mixing differents kinds of works in a apparently random order. But this don't reduce the value of the books, both for the expert and the apprentice.Value
(Posted on 16/08/2010) - a good series indeed Review by Ronald ter Burg
-
"DA Masters is a good series indeed, but while all contributins are a pearl by themselves, they don't make a crown this time. I miss a thematical arrangement or a 2D/3D technical blend. Perhaps this one followed issue 3 too soon.Value
Still recommended, if you're after the pearls, or the whole series.

-
"These 3D books by far the best I ever saw - perfect! A must have for every 3D artist and a great source of new inspirations. Great renderings and also a lot of very good information about the workflow of other more impressive artists.Value
First I bought the Volume 2, but after the first 10 pages it was clear for me to buy every ""Digital Art Masters"" - Book.
At the moment I can't wait for Volume 4 ... ;)
Please keep up the great work ...
Thanks
Wolfgang"
