This 91-page eBook is a collection of Speed Painting tutorials, which have been created by some of the top digital painters around today. The idea behind this tutorial series was for the artist to interpret a one-line descriptive brief, create a speed painting from it and then produce a tutorial showing and explaining each stage of production of the artwork. This downloadable PDF eBook can be followed in most 2D software packages that support paintbrushes and layers.
In the second volume of this eBook series, you can find out how Nathaniel West, Daniel Ljunggren, Ignacio Bazan Lazcano, Rich Tilbury, Emrah Elmasli, Robin Olausson, Nick Oroc and Mike Corriero tackled such subjects as "Alien Hot Air Balloons”, "The Beast was Poised Ready to Strike!” and "Man-Eating Plants”.

I'm trying to learn as much as I can about digital painting and I thought speed painting would keep things simple. The images are of good quality (pdf) and easily accessed. I'll admit they are a little over my head technically wise, but I am a beginner so its up to me to rise to the challenge rather than expecting things to be dumbed down. I like these tutorials, I really do. I want to thank all the guys for sharing them with us.Review by Richard(Posted on 14/01/2014)
